Keyboard shortcuts

These keyboard shortcuts help with actions across the app, more shortcuts are added continuously.

We strive to build a navigation that is fast and easy to use from both beginners and seasoned semantic data practitioners. Keyboard shortcuts are important to make common tasks faster to accomplish.

Explanation of symbols:

⌥ = Alt, or Option, on the Mac
⌘ = Ctrl, or Command/Meta, on the Mac
⇧ = Shift

Generic keyboard shortcuts

We support below keyboard shortcuts that can be used across the application.

⌘ + ⇧ + F	Bring up search panel to search for types, traits, instances and add to canvas
⌥ + H	Navigate to data product home
⌘ + ,	Navigate to settings

Contextual keyboard shortcuts

Some contextual keyboard shortcuts are sometimes available where many items are listed, or where a specific selected item can be manipulated using the keyboard.

⌘ + A	Select all elements on the page
TAB	Switch focus between elements
SPACE	Select the current element
ENTER	Activate the current element (such as buttons or menus)
